Loan waiver – reg.

Sir,

Please refer to this office Letter No. Accounts/CBC Cell/OTS dt. 28-2-2012 and 18-7-2012 requesting therein to furnish the details of individual-wise payments made to various loanees under CBC Scheme.

2. The Ministry has now directed this office to furnish Institution/Individual/Unit wise complete information of Pre-CBC and CBC Loans.

3. It is also directed by the Ministry, that in order to consider the proposal of waiver of loan, a clear distinction has to be drawn between:

(a)Institutions/Individuals which have defaulted in a bonafied manner and Institutions/individuals whose functioning has not been bonafied and where there have been instances of misutilization of loans or financial malfeasance.

(b)Institutions/individuals which have partially or marginally defaulted and institutions/individuals which have fully defaulted and

(c)Details of institutions which are comparatively smaller vis-a-vis institutions which are comparatively bigger need to be provided.

4. As far as KVIB is concerned, a copy of letter addressed to CEO of KVIB is enclosed herewith. You are requested to visit office of the KVI Board or depute a responsible Officer from your office and collect the information and furnish the same to this office.

5. You are directed to provide the above details on priority by 20th August, 2012 without fail.
