It is important that you give some thought to the semester following your study abroad experience. How do you plan to register for the next semester? Will you use the web or make plans through your academic advisor and the Registrar? Please write your plans on the lines below.

______(Initial) I will continue to be enrolled at William Woods University during my study abroadexperience with one of the above affiliated programs. William Woods University will charge my account the current WWU tuition rate plus any additional tuition charges of the program. I will pay the university tuition charges prior to my participation in the study abroad program. All other charges, including housing, transportation, program fees, deposits, etc… are billed through the program company and paid directly to them.I will be enrolled in a general 12 credit study abroad course to hold my status for the semester, and understand that my actual credits will not be entered until the registrar’s office receives my transcripts with final grades.

______(Initial) I will withdraw from William Woods University in order to study abroad. I understand that my study abroad credit hours are subject to approval of the WWU Registrar. I understand that upon my return to the university, I will be considered a transfer student which may or may not affect my scholarships.

  • Reviewed with the student courses they plan to complete while studying abroad.
  • Discussed how study abroad will affect the student’s graduation plan.
  • Developed a plan for how the student will register for classes for the semester following their study abroad experience.

Registrar’s Office Date
  • Explained to the student how study abroad courses will appear on their transcript.
  • Reviewed courses the student plans to complete and provided the student with documentation as to how those credits will transfer (if necessary).
  • Accepted the student’s plan for registering for the semester following their study abroad experience.
