With the signing of the application form by the applicant, the enrolment for the respective University course is legally binding. After the positive completion of a selection procedure, Danube-University Krems issues the confirmation of a study place. The granting of the study place is effected by means of written notification to the participant. Costs arising in connection with the selection procedure may not be charged to Danube-UniversityKrems.

Danube-University Krems retains the right to send the outgoing invoices, the payment reminder and the first demand note in electronic form. In the case of payment arrears, the participant will be charged arrears interest in the amount of 4% per annum plus reminder costs. In the case of payment arrears, the participant furthermore undertakes to reimburse Danube-UniversityKrems for any charges for debt collection and legal costs, insofar as they serve the appropriate legal pursuit. The remittance of the participant’s fees is carried out by means of a giro-transfer form to the Bank Austria Krems, BSC (bank sort code) 12000, account number 03974041000 of Danube-University Krems, citing the outgoing invoice number. Any banking charges for the transfer are payable by the participant.

4. Cancellation of courses

Danube-University Krems reserves the right to cancel university courses, in particular by reason of the non-attainment of the minimum number of participants. In this case, the participant’s fees already paid will be refunded. However, further claims may not arise from this.

Danube-University Krems is liable exclusively for damage resulting from intentional or grossly negligent behaviour of employees or other collaborators of Danube-University Krems. Liability for minor negligence, compensation for resultant and financial damages, for missed profit(s) and for damages arising from third party claims is excluded.
