Dear Society Hill at Bernards II Homeowners:

The 2016 pool season is quickly approaching. The scheduled opening date is Saturday, May 28thfrom 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (See 2016 pool schedule located on bottom portion of enclosed form entitled “Pool Rules”). Please be reminded that there will be NO SMOKING permitted within the pool gate. There are two upright cigarette disposal receptacleslocated outside the pool gate area.

The Association will provide the same type of pool badges as used last year, but the shape and colors will be different. A badge will be given to each person occupying a unit other than children three years old and younger. The badge must be visible at all times when you are in the pool area. You may wear it on your bathing suit, cover up or beach bag.

In order to make the pool badge registration sessions more efficient, we are asking each of you to fill out the enclosed application form. You must include telephone numbers,an email address (if applicable), an emergency contact and vehicle information in order to obtain pool badges. This information is necessary to update our files. Please bring the completed form with you to one of the designated pool badge registration sessions indicated below:

Please make every effort to attend one of the above sessions, as failure to obtain your badges at one of these sessions will result in a late registration fee of $10.00 for a single badge and $20.00 for a family to obtain badges. This, of course, does not apply to newresidents. An amnesty night (no late fee) to obtain pool badges will take place one evening during the week of June 27th (the date to be announced) in the June newsletter.

You must contact the community manager at (908) 580-9377 to arrange for pool badges other than the noted pool badge sessions. The late registration fees will apply unless there are extenuating circumstances or the badges are for new residents.

In order to obtain pool badges or keys to the tennis court gate and the box containing the bocce ball and horseshoe set, unit owners must be members in “GOOD STANDING.” This means all maintenance fees, late charges and fines must be paid including the May 2016 maintenance fee. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL OUTSTANDING CHARGES ARE PAID PRIOR TO THE POOL BADGE REGISTRATION SESSIONS.

A list of the Association’s pool rules is enclosed. Please review these rules prior to the opening of the pool. An adult member of the household must bring proof of residency, i.e. driver’s license, etc. to the pool badge sessions.

If you own a unit which is occupied by tenants, please complete the owner section of the application form and pass this information and form on to your tenants. Please make sure that you have supplied the Association office with a copy of your current rentallease indicating a term of at least six months prior to the pool badge sessions. If you are renting to a corporation, we must be provided with a copy of both the current rental lease between the unit owner and corporation as well as the sublease between the corporation and the tenants occupying the unit. Both leases must be for a term of at least 180 days. COPIES WILL NOT BE MADE AT THE POOL BADGESESSIONS. The leases may be mailed to the Association office at 239 Irving Place, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920, faxed to (908) 580-1910, emailed to or dropped off in the beige mailbox in front of the clubhouse.

Guest badges for the season are available for $20.00 each. Also available is a weekday guest badge for the season at $10.00 each, which can’t be used on weekends. Keys to the tennis court gate will be available for $8.00 each and the box that contains the bocce ball and horseshoe sets (attached to the side of the maintenance shed near the courts) for $5.00 each. If youare paying with cash, please bring the exact change. If you are paying with a check, please make it payable to Society Hill at Bernards II.
