Dear Parents and Guardians of students in LABBB’s Burlington and Bedford High School Programs:

I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the wonderful August weather with family and friends. At the end of this school year, we had some changes to our administrative team as people decided to retire or take on other roles. We also had some changes in our team of Vocational Counselors. In response to these changes, we have hired new coordinators and counselors and reorganized oversight responsibilities a little.

I want to take this opportunity to let you know who the Coordinator and Vocational Counselor will be for your child. We are pleased to introduce you to Kim Ganley, who will be the Coordinator overseeing our Burlington and Bedford High School Programs. Kim has worked with our LABBB Programs for 22 years. She wasa teacher for five years at our Lexington High School Program, then, in 1998, when LABBB expanded to Bedford High School, she played a dual role as both educator and administrator. Shecontinued teaching in the Bedford Program through this past year. This coming year, she is thrilled to be in an administrative position again, working to promote the learning and growth of all the students in our Bedford and Burlington High School Programs.

We are thrilled to have Kim join our LABBB Administrative Team and are confident that you will find her to be open and supportive, and enjoy working with her as a part of your child’s educational team as well.

If your child attends Burlington High School, the Vocational Counselor working with your child will be Brian Walsh. Brian has worked as a teacher at LABBB since 1998. He started in one of our middle school programs, then spent 15 years teaching in two different high school programs. Brian is excited about his new role with our high school students.

If your child attends Bedford High School, AnnMarieLinehan will continue to be the Vocational Counselor working with your child.AnnMarie has been a Vocational Counselor with LABBB for over 15 years.

We hope that you will attend our open house in September so you can meet the new members of your LABBB team in person. You will receive more specific information about the open house date and time soon. We hope you enjoy the rest of the summer vacation and look forward to seeing everyone in September.

Sincerely,

PatricBarbieri
