September 1999 to present:

Workflow:

Participate at a 2-year workflow project for a government department at Arnhem as developer and consultant. Automating the administrative processes by introducing a custome made workflow system. Platforms used are WFT 8.1 and SNAP 8.1 on several HP UNIX servers with Oracle databases and on Windows 95 clients. Also wrote user manuals just before rolling out this application.

Internet:

Maintaining, developing and managing an existing website from one of our customers as webmaster. This site consists mostly of PHP scripts, extended this website with a CMS (Content Management System), also in PHP, to enable the content editors to update their part. The site has about 2000 users.

Notes:

-Implementing a secondary Domino server at our headquarters to enable a customers Domino server to communicate with ours. This needed a secure solution.

-Also enabled this server for our employees to be able to reach our network from their homes.

-Made some changes to our registration database, the bases for management information and invoices.

-Made a migration plan for one of our servers for upgrading from R4 to R5, and put this in practice.

SNAP:

Converting an existing application from version 7 to version 8.

Other:

-Acted as network administrator for our NT network, including NT and Windows98 clients, also as the administrator for our Notes Domino servers.

-Tuned a NT network at one of our customers which consists of a NT server and several Windows 95 clients.

-In june 2000 moved our office to a new location. This included negotiation with movers, cleaners, painters and the KPN as well as our ISP for our ISDN communication system, redesign and implement a solid NT network, connection to the Internet by using routers and firewalls.

April 1999:

Migration and development of administrative applications for a vacuum-wrapping factory from Omnis3 for Macintosh (single user) to Omnis7 version 4 for Windows NT (multi user).

March 1998 - March 1999:

In cooperation with ICT Automatisering: development of just-in-time applications for fully automating an animal- food factory, tailor made as well as more generic processes.
Platform: SNAP 8.1 on Intel pc's and Alpha servers with Windows NT, Oracle.

Design, implementation and administration of Domino server (Lotus Notes), as well as hardware- and LAN administration on our headquarters of Template Software Benelux.

Workflow:

Participate in developing several applications like e.g. a helpdesk/complaint desk, a Year2000 monitor, an order and follow-up system, an application for monitoring and registering appliances.

SNAP:

Several additional programs for existing applications e.g. making connections to other (customer) systems and their databases, upgrading of older SNAP-versions to today's standard version 8.0.

Design, developing, maintenance and upgrade of its Internet-site (incl. protected part for employees only, on-line hour-registration form). Negotiate with ISP’s.

Helpdesk-function for all hard- and software items, implementation of Ethernet-protocol as surplus on Token Ring on the OS/2-server.

Lotus Notes:

Implementation and developing Lotus Notes (Domino server, on OS/2) together with Internet in order to make FAIR a ‘virtual office’.

Infrastructure:

Participate in setting up a first structure for the new FAIR.

Detached at Fokker to expand and update the Management Information System for Omnis7.

Maintaining and developing several company wide Omnis7 applications, consultancy for other projects, implementing maintenance requests, advising management.

Application Manager:
Manager of several company wide applications, including generating the reports, developing and giving courses for users, apply and monitoring of maintenance requests, developing and maintaining user guides (mostly as a help file for Windows), cooperate and participate process improvement actions, advise the management.
