Dickens of a Christmas

Craft Fayre

I have pleasure in enclosing an application form for this year’s Dickens of a Christmas Craft Fayre and would be delighted if you were able to apply for a stall.

Please note the items below prior to completing the form.

• Many craftspeople change crafts and I do not retain previous years records so please supply full details of the items you intend selling as I like to create a good mix on site. FORMS WITH MISSING DETAILS WILL BE RETURNED FOR COMPLETIONa delay which could mean you losing out on a space.
• If carrying foodstuffs, you MUST comply with all relevant labelling and manufacturing regulations. Your local environmental health dept will assist and advise. These will initially be allocated to our 5 unit Stable block at the Bull Inn. This is cobbled underfoot and suitable footwear/clothing should be worn. Please ensure you list ALL generic items you intend selling to assist me in minimising duplication.
• If you already carry Public Liability Insurance PLEASE SEND A COPY OF YOUR CERTIFICATE BACK WITH YOUR APPLICATION FORM along with a note confirming you will have current insurance in place on the day. Please note: We DO NOT demand you personally carry cover for this event but if you do, we can reduce our own insurance costs significantly by making allowance in our own level of cover.

The event is filling up quicker each year and I must emphasise the need to reply as quickly as possible if you wish to take part. As usual, I will be operating a strict first come first served allocation process (making suitable allowance to minimise duplication) which inevitably means that some of our regular faces could miss out. If you are affected, I would offer my apologies in advance and trust that you will understand the need to operate this way.

Having increased our prices last year, I am pleased to say that we will be pegging this year’s fees at the same level as 2012 which will be £60. As in previous years, we encourage you to dress in Victorian theme to help create an appropriate atmosphere and as an incentive to do so, will again offer you a reduction of £15 making the fee £45 if you become a Victorian for the day. As normal, cheques payable to “Newport Pagnell & Olney Lions Club” should be sent with your application and these will only be cashed after we confirm acceptance - anyone not accepted will have their cheque returned uncashed to enable disposal.

Receipt of this application does not ensure admission to the Fayre – Please allow 28 days for confirmation of acceptance..

If, for any reason, we are unable to accept your application, your cheque will be returned, uncashed.

We will attempt to ensure that similar crafts will be separated across the sites operating according to the details supplied.

Anyone carrying unspecified goods are likely to be asked to remove them from sale - refunds will not be possible.

Cancellations will be accepted until 1st November after which, refunds will not be possible.

Final site location and reporting instructions will be sent approx 2 weeks before the event.

Please take special note of the restriction on manufactured goods.
