Corbyn Wile Courageous Student Scholarship

Corbyn was an extremely courageous young lady who was diagnosed with cancer while a student at Enterprise High School. Corbyn was determined to maintain as “normal” a life as possible. She completed her high school coursework through a combination of school attendance, homebound services, and online classes. During her senior year she was voted EHS Homecoming Queen. One of her goals was to attend college which she did for two years at the University of Alabama. She bravely fought cancer for four years and won her battle at the ripe old age of 20. Corbyn was passionate about raising awareness for childhood cancer and her motto was “no one fights alone.” Corbyn’s spunky personality, never say never attitude, and devotion to her cause was recognized by many. This scholarship has been established in Corbyn’s memory and to assist a student who has exemplified courage in the face of adversity. In life there are many struggles. Corbyn’s was cancer. It is hoped that the funds with this scholarship will help a student, who has remained courageous in the face of adversity, realize the dream of attending a university as Corbyn did.
