Each approved lecture and workshop is worth a designated number of credits from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) - Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) and National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT). Workouts do not qualify for credits. Please total the credits at the bottom of this page and retain a copy of this document for a period of 4 years after completion. You are responsible for maintaining proof of completion of these credits and providing it to your certifying body. IDEA does not determine which sessions qualify for credit or the number of credits. Please contact your certifying agency with any questions.

Note: If you are certified by the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT), continuing education credits from ACE, NASM and NSCA may be applied toward the NCCPT continuing certification process. World Instructor Training School (W.I.T.S.) will accept credits for sessions approved by ACE and AFAA.Also, NATABOC is now solely referred to as the BOC or Board of Certification, Inc.
