CONCERNING PLANE SPOTTING

ON CHISINAU INTERNATIONAL AIROPORT

  1. Main characteristics

This regulation was elaborated with the aim ofstipulating the main rules for conducting the plane spotting on Chisinau International Airport.

Plane spotting is an activity that consists in observing and photographing or filming aircraftsnear or within the airport, while landing or taking off, for capturing the most interesting details.

In order to ensure civil aviation security throughoutthe spotting, there will be prohibited items such as weapons, explosives or other dangerous devices, articles or substances that may be used to commit an act of unlawful interference.

During the spotting session, participants will be provided with food and place to rest.

  1. Rules

a)Plane spotters must complete an application form and to send it on e-mail up on 13.08.2014, 10.00pm, with a copy of identity card.

b) The maximum permitted number of plane-spotter will be 30. If requests exceed this number, Chisinau International Airport reserves the right to reject applications received more than the number set.

c) The announcementregarding the plane spotting on Chisinau International Airport,will be published on the official airport website by at least 8 days before.

d) After gathering the number of people accepted, plane spotters will be informed about the date, address, the start and the end of proposed activity.

e) Plane spotting on Chisinau International Airport is conducted only in places specially set by the airport administration.

f) Plane spotters will be accompanied by LLC "Avia Invest" employees throughout the session.

g) Before being allowed the access to airside, participants will attend a training session conducted by the Security Department.

h)Spotting participants will strictly limit to shooting aircraft during landing / taking off.

i) The photos taken after plane spotting will be available, on request, at the disposal of airport administration without any claim to copyright.

j) Spotting participants will have a pass card that will be worn visibly during the whole spotting session.

3. Plane spotters responsibilities

  • To be present during the whole day (5.00am - 9.00pm) on the airport, without being able to get out of established area by the airport administration, where will be conducted the session.
  • To be present at the airport on the day fixed by the airport administration without delay.
  • They will not hold prohibited items and will not commit acts of indiscipline, violence and destruction within airport territory.
  • To wear visibly the card access in restricted areas of the airport throughout the session.
  • To not exceed the special areas set by the airport administration to conduct the session.
  • Follow instructions of security personnel present and rules for conducting plane spotting.
  • To put at the disposal of airport administration, on request, photos or recordings made ​​after spotting session without any claim to copyright.
