COERVER PACKAGES

COERVER PACKAGE1

CONE 1 ------CONE 2 (distance varies)

Two players are behind CONE 1. First player dribbles ball towards CONE 2 and cuts back before reaching it. Passes to second player and runs back to CONE 1. Second player goes. Change partners every couple of minutes to keep things fresh and balanced. If there is an odd number of players, go with three in one group, but make sure players limit the number of times they are in a group of three.

COERVER PACKAGE 2:

CONE 1 ------CONE 2 ------CONE 3 (distance varies)

Two players are behind CONE 1 and two players behind CONE 3. Both groups dribble towards CONE 2 and make same move around the cone and pass to the next available player in front of them. This should be in sync so players essentially face each other at CONE 2. The move must go to the same direction (mirrored) so they end up going around the opposite side of the cones. Players coming from CONE 1 pass to players at CONE 3 and vice-versa.

Dribbling variations: inside/outside with one foot, boxing, inside1/outside2, outside only, freedribble

Move variations:scissors, double scissors, rake-take, hook-take, Fake in/Cut Out, Maradona, shimmy, fake shot/cut out

(4)Time moves well. Not too early, not too late.

(5)Pass as soon as possible after making the move. Avoid extra dribbles.

(6)Pass with pace.

(8)No walking after passing.

(9)Players waiting at cones should keep feet moving. Be ready to receive.

Increased pressure:

CONE 1 ------CONE 3 (distance varies)

Key coaching points:

(1)Timing is important. Be brave but not reckless. Be under control.

(2)Go at your opponent. Challenge them before making your move.
