No scratch meeting will be held.

Submit scratches in writing to the Meet Director (or designee).

Entries due by: / One week before the meet.
Entry Limitations: / Each swimmer may swim no more than three events in the
Silver Conference Meet.
There is no limit on the number of swimmers a team may enter in each event for this meet.
The order of events will be the CASSL Silver order of events. No relays are swum at this meet.
“Age up” Date: / The swimmer’s age as of the day of the meet will determine his/her age group for CASSL meets.
Seed Times: / All seed times should be recorded as Short Course Yard times.
Entry Fees: / $3.00 per individual event plus $2.00 ISI surcharge.
Meet Workers: / For this meet each team will supply:

1 official
3 timers

Awards: / Rosette ribbons for the top six finishers.

CHICAGO AREA SUMMER SWIM LEAGUE

Overview of the Chicago Area Summer Swim League (CASSL)

CASSL consists of many Chicago area USA-S teams.

CASSL conducts three levels of championships meets.

Gold Championships: For swimmers fourteen and under. Each team may enter two individuals and one relay. Swum on three levels with the winner of each level moving up to the next level the following summer (replacing the lowest-placed team from that division).

Silver Championships: Swum at four sites. This meet is for all swimmers who did not compete in the Gold Championships (or did not swim the maximum number of events at Gold). Each team may have an unlimited number of entries in each event. Each swimmer may swim a maximum of three events.

CASSL Senior Championships: For all 15-and-olders swimmers usually held at one site. No swimmer may swim an event that he/she has an ISI Senior Champ cut. Each team may have an unlimited number of entries in each event. Each swimmer may swim a maximum of three events.

CASSL is organized by a League Administrator and all conference decisions are made by majority vote at the April meeting. This includes adding or removing teams to CASSL, championship meet structuring, and all other league business.

For a team to be a member of CASSL they must;

Be a member in good standing in Illinois Swimming, Inc.,

Submit all entries using Hy-Tek software,

Have all accounts paid from the previous summer to the CASSL awards vendor,

Compete in the Gold Championships,
