TENDER NOTICE NO.6 OF /2004-2005

Sealed tenders in two parts are invited on percentage rate basis for CPWD SOR`91 items and item rate basis for Non-SOR items from experienced contractors including those who are registered in appropriate category with Coal India Limited or the Subsidiary Companies as well as from the intending bidders who qualify against the set conditions for the following work.

* The estimated cost for scheduled items is based on CPWD’91 SOR and for

unscheduled item is based on DSR’97 and market rates.

Issue of Tender Documents :

(i)Begins on - 19.8.2004

(ii) Closes on - 2.9.2004

(iii)Date & time of receipt of tender- 3.9.2004 upto 3 PM

(iv)Date & time of opening of tender- 3.9.2004 At 3.30 PM

Earnest Money Deposit

The earnest money can be deposited in cash with Dy.CFM, CMPDI Ltd., RI-IV, Nagpur or by demand draft issued by any Nationalised Bank in favour of “CMPDIL, RI-IV, Nagpur” payable at Nagpur.

Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day between 11.00 AM to 4,00 PM on all working days (except on Saturdays). On Saturdays documents can be issued between 11.00 AM to 12.00 Noon. Cost of tender document should be paid only in cash which is to be deposited with the Dy.CFM, CMPDIL, RI-IV, Nagpur.

Tender documents shall be issued to the contractor/firms on receipt of written request to Dy. CE (Civil), CMPDI, RI.IV, Nagpur.

Part-I of the offer in sealed cover should contain credentials required to be submitted by the tenderers as per tender document. Part-I shall also contain copies of certificates/documents duly signed and attested as mentioned below towards qualifying criteria. Part II shall contain the price bid.

The tender documents must be associated with the certified copies of the following documents:

i)Firm’s Registration details if any

ii)Banker’s Certificate of financial soundness.

iii)Partnership deed, if applicable

iv)List of Technical persons under contractor’s roll & details of construction equipments possessed by contractor

v)Experience certificates/job completion certificates

Issuance of tender documents does not ensure that the tenderer is qualified and eligible for the work

i)Eligibility Criteria

1)Average Annual financial turn-over during the last 3 years, ending 31st March’2004, should be at least Rs.0.47 lakh.

2)Experience of having successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years ending 3st July’2004 should be either of the following :

a) Three similar completed works costing not less than 0.63 lakh.

or

b)Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs.0.79 lakh.

or

c) One similar completed works costing not less than Rs.1.26 lakhs

(similar nature of work means construction of residential buildings)

The tenderers are requested to submit the offers in sealed envelope alongwith Earnest Money Receipt/Demand Draft in separate envelope to be attached with the envelope of main tender document in the office of the undersigned on 3.9.2004 upto 3.00 PM.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION FOR SUBMISSION OF TENDER

Tenderer are required to submit their offers in sealed covers giving reference to the Tender Notice No. & Date containing offers in two parts, i.e, Part-I & Part-II, in separate sealed covers superscribing Part-I & II on the respective envelopes. Part-I shall be opened on the same day and Part II shall be opened in respect of only such tenders which are found in order after verification of Part-I. The tender is valid for 120 days from the date of opening of Price Bids/Revised Offer.

The company is not under any obligation to accept the lowest tender and reserves the right to reject any or all tenders or accept wholly or partly any of the tenders without assigning any reason what-so-ever.
