River Avenue Co-operative Day Nursery Inc. / $400,000 / FortRouge – construction of a new child-care facility.
Horizons Children’s Centre Inc. (Brittania-School) / $112,000 / St. James – expansion of existing school-based centre to accommodate 12 new infant spaces including installation of sprinkler system.
Rady JCC Child Care Centre – YMHA Jewish Community Centre of Winnipeg Inc. (GreyAcademy) / $200,000 / Tuxedo – creates new child-care spaces for 12 infants, 24 preschool and 15 school-age children.

NORTHERN REGION
UniversityCollege of the North (Thompson/The Pas) multiple-use child-care facility. / $100,000 (initial allocation) / The Pas/Thompson – development and construction of a new child-care facility on the UCN campus.
INTERLAKEREGION
Ashern Day Care Co-op Inc. / $100,000 / Ashern – relocation and expansion of the only licensed child-care facility which will create eight additional preschool spaces.
Stonewall Children’s Centre Inc. / $200,000 / Stonewall – land has been donated by Town of Stonewall to construct child-care centre.
PARKLAND REGION
Peter Pan Day Nursery Inc. (on land leased from school division) / $200,000 / Dauphin – construction of the addition will address space licensing issues in existing centre and will allows centre to add a number of preschool spaces.
Magical Horizons / $183,000 / Dauphin – development of a new child-care centre to accommodate 12 infants and 32 preschool spaces, and land has been donated with strong support from local businessman.
