OPEN AUTUMN MEETING AT BLAIR ATHOLL 3rd4th SEPTEMBER 2016

PROGRAMME

Competition 1.

Saturday 2 ss and 20 to count at 987 yards and 2ss and 15 to countat 1114 and 1233 yards. Sunday 2 ss and 20 to count at 1114 and 1233 yards, for the Maxwell Cup (open), the Sandeman Trophy (confined to Scots), the Brown Tankard (confined to visitors), the Maitland Cup for the highest scorer who has never shot in an Elcho team and the “F” Class Salver.

Squadding will be in pairs using the electronic targets and entries will be limited to a maximum of 36 – in the event of entries being oversubscribed they will be treated on a first come first served basis. Programme as follows:-

987 yards Saturday – 09.30, 10.20 and 11.10 hrs.

1114 yards Saturday – 12.10, 12.50 and 13.30 hrs. Sunday – 09.30, 10.20 and 11.10 hrs

1233 yards Saturday – 14.40, 15.20 and 16.00 hrs. Sunday – 12.20, 13.10 and 14.00 hrs

Blow off shots will be allowed before the start of each range on both days and all sighters will be convertible.

Competition 2.

Pairs competition to run concurrent with 1114X scores in competition 1. Pairs will be selected on Saturday evening based on aggregate scores for the day with the top and bottom scores paired together.

Competition 3.

Sweepstake – concurrent with both 1233 yards shoots in competition 1 -- prize money will be paid out for series of 5 consecutive shots scoring 25.

Where not otherwise indicated NRA Match Rifle rules will apply. Any disputes will be referred to a range committee comprising of Elcho Captains, past and present.

Ammunition can be made available if required -- indicate your requirements on the entry form.

A dinner has been arranged in the ATHOLL ARMS HOTEL on the Saturday evening at 7.15 for 7.45pm. Cost of 3 course meal, table wine and coffee will be £30 per person payable with entry. Rooms have been reserved for bed and breakfast at the Atholl Arms Hotel at the rate of £70 per night for a single room and £85 per night for a double/twin room. Please book rooms on the entry form – available rooms will be allocated by order of requests received.
