Introduction to Childbirth Education

Cancellation Policy:

To receive a full refund (minus a $50 handling fee),cancel by20 days before your first class. After that date you may apply your payment toward any future BirthWell Partners training within one year from the date you cancel, or transfer your registration to a friend. If you do not attend and you do not cancel as above, you are responsible for the entire payment.

*Intro to Childbirth Education for Doulas*April 18th

Attending the Intro Workshop is optional butHIGHLY recommended. This workshop will focus on specific educational information not covered in the 3-Day Birth Doula Workshop. Taking this workshop will fulfill DONAs childbirth education requirement for doula Certification.

**Birth Doula Workshop** April 20,21,22
This workshop will meet DONA requirements for certification. Learn hands-on skills for supporting families during labor, business tips for getting started as a doula, and be inspired working with others who share your passion for healthy families.

**Breastfeeding Class for Doulas**April 28th

Attending this class is optional but HIGHLY recommended. This class will focus on skills for helping mothers choose to breastfeed, and on getting breastfeeding off to a good start. Taking this workshop will fulfill DONAs breastfeeding education requirement for doula certification.

**Perinatal Health Advocate Training **April 28th
This class is designed for anyone who is interested in, or currently works in the community,addressing -perinatal health disparities, and is required for BWP Volunteers.

Scholarships available for residents of the Greater Birmingham Area, Tuscaloosa and Anniston.
(Application required: deadline March 5th)
