1. Bowlers must be members of the men’s Beaver Valley USBC Bowling Association (BVBA), currently bowling in a league sanctioned by the BVBA. Entrants must also have been a member of the BVBA during the 2016-2017 bowling season with a recognized league average in the local average book. Summer League averages of 2017 with minimum of 21 games are accepted.
2. If there are at least 48 entries, the finals is structured as a 16-player bracket, with players who finish lower than 16th in qualifying but in the money will cash for $40. If less than 48 entries, the bracket will be adjusted accordingly. Players not in the bracket, but still in the money, will cash for $40. Bracket is seeded by high qualifying score.
3. In the event of a tie for the 16th position, the high qualifying game score will determine the position. Ties for other positions will also be determined by the high qualifying game score. Ties during the head-to-head matches will be determined by a ninth and tenth frame roll off.
4. First prize of $500 or based on the number of entries. Number of entries will determine all other prizes. We are using a 1 in 3 cash ratio.
5. Decision of the Tournament Management will be final. USBC rules will apply. This is a USBC sanctioned event. Entrants must show USBC card.
6. The tournament will be held on Sunday, 19 November, 2017. Squads will bowl at 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Lanes will be re-oiled between qualifying squads. Finals will be held immediately following 12:30 PM squad.
7. Multiple entries are allowed; cash only once in the finals.
8. This is a scratch tournament.
9. Entry fee for this tournament will be $40.00.
10. Walk-ins accepted. No entries accepted after first lanes are drawn.
