Backpack/Daypack Definition: Backpack is a bag worn on the back to carry everything e.g. hiking.

Daypack is a bag worn on the back to carry the day’s needs.

A good backpack must be suitable for the person’s height, back length and weight. Can be expensive and outgrown. Adjustable and with a bellyband is essential. Do not hang items off the outside of the pack as it makes carrying/hiking difficult. A daypack is more comfortable if there is a bellyband.
