BADGEPROGRAM

ThisprogramwasdesignedtodevelopasenseofachievementbetweenratingsformembersworkingattheD-Levels.Italsogivesinstructorsanothertooltoteachbasicknowledgeofhorsecareandsetsafoundationforratings.

Thisisabrandnewprogramandcurrentlytenbadgesareavailable.YourfeedbackisappreciatedandwillhelpshapetheprogramintoaconstructivetooltobeusedthroughoutUSPC.

Badgesshouldbeawardedinanenjoyablearrangementforbothmembersandinstructors,allowingthememberstoconfidentlydemonstratetheknowledgetheyhavegained.Itisuptotheindividualclubsandcenterstodeviseasystemfortheawardingofbadges.Theaimofthisprogramistosteerawayfroma“formal”atmosphereoftestingandallowthememberstoexpressasmuchoftheirknowledgeaspossibleinahandsonmanner(e.g.,usingabridletotalkaboutitspartsinsteadofpointingatapicture).
