OR
Minimum Number of Publications:-
Outstanding and substantial level of professional art activity and a national or international contribution to the development of Arts and Design in general. (Demonstrated by at least 8 exhibitions at national or international level with two or more than two new works in each exhibition or evidence of equal number of visual communication campaigns designed and published or equivalent work in any other discipline of Arts and Design as specified in the research criteria)

Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding Institutions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz. M.Phil./Ph.D or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.

Note:-
1)As per University policy the University reserves the right not to consider any application or fill any post without giving any reason. Therefore all University advertisements since 2009 - 2014which have not been processed till date stand cancelled. The applicants of previous advertisements are requested to kindly submit fresh application if interested for the above mentioned positions.
2)Existing employees of the University, who are working on contract basis should apply for regularization of their services as per the procedure given below.
3)All the existing employees who are below 55 years of age are required to compete against the regular positions as University management is advertising their positions for regular induction creating the requisite posts, wherever applicable.
4)The faculty members who are working on contractual/adhoc basis, should apply against above regular positions. Otherwise, if they fail to apply or are not selected in recruitment process, their contract will stand terminated.
5)For all senior positions i.e. Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor candidates having Ph.D degree are encouraged to apply on Tenure Track positions as per instruction of Higher Education Commission.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Applications against quota should submit the proofs of their eligibility.
- Name of Post and Quota (where quota exists) should be mentioned on application and left corner of the envelope with block letters as well. Disable candidates are required to attach the certificate of disability issued from the Assessment Board for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons.
- Only short listed candidates will be called for Test / Interview.
- The Prescribed application forms can be downloaded from University of Sargodha website i.e.
- Candidates for the posts of Professor & Associate Professor are required to submit five copies of applications along with complete C.V, attested copies of testimonials and research work/publications.
- Candidates for other posts are required to submit one copy of application along with complete C.V, attested copies of testimonials.
- Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate applications with necessary documents, complete in all respects.
- Application must be accompanied with pay order/demand draft (non-refundable) of Rs.1000/- in case of Professor & Associate Professor and Rs. 500/- in case of others drawn in favour of the Treasurer, University of Sargodha.
- Two most recent passport size photographs should be affixed on each application.
- Candidates already in service of a Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by the due date; otherwise their applications shall not be entertained.
- Applications received after the last date will not be entertained; even though posted before the last date.
- Incomplete applications shall also not be entertained.
- Last date: For Professor & Associate Professor is 30.09.2016 & for others is 31.08.2016.
- The University reserves the right not to consider any application or fill any post without giving any reason.
- Number of posts can be increased / decreased according to the need of University and as per vacancy position reflected in the budget. Moreover, the selected candidates may be posted at any of the Public Sector Sub-Campuses established by the University, if need be.
