EXTRACT FROM DSF’S STATUTES:

§ 3

(1)

DSF’s active members are divided into A-members, B-members, and student members.

(2)

An A-member is anyone who is an active member at the time of the commencement of these laws.

(3)

In accordance with these laws, the right to achieve membership as an A-member is given to any person of age who:

1)has been a B-member for three consecutive years and in that period has been employed as an actor, opera singer, dancer, or choreographer to an extent approved by the board of directors,

2)has graduated from a place of education recognized by DSF,

3)for three consecutive years has been employed as an actor, opera singer, dancer, or choreographer to an extent approved by the board of directors,

4)has previously fulfilled the conditions of A-membership and is able to produce documentation for employment in one of the above-mentioned areas.

(4)

The right to achieve membership as a B-member is given to any person who is able, in front of the board of directors, to produce documentation for employment as an actor, opera singer, dancer, or choreographer on payment and working terms recognized by DSF.

The right to achieve membership as a student member is given to any person who has been admitted to a place of education of actors, opera singers, dancers, or choreographers recognized by DSF.

§8

Without the consent of DSF’s board of directors, a member is not allowed to join any association or organization the purpose of which is to protect the interests of actors, opera singers, dancers, or choreographers with regard to payment or working conditions or exploitation and administration of the rights of these groups. The board can, if it finds occasion to do so, demand that a member who has previously joined such an organization leaves this within a period of time specified by the board.

The members of the Danish Actors’ Association are entitled to join the Functionaries and Civil Servants’ Unemployment Fund, FTF-A. An application form will be send to you together with the confirmation of your admission as a member of the Danish Actors’ Association.

With kind regards,

THE DANISH ACTORS’ ASSOCIATION
