Becoming an AIM Awards Recognised Centre
Our Centre Recognition process considers the quality assurance arrangements, resources and general functioning of your organisation and enables us to make a decision as to whether your centre is able to deliver AIM Awards provision to the required standard.

2: Centre Agreement terms and conditions
A signedCentre Agreement. The agreement must be signed by someone within the centre who has responsibility and authority to do so who will be issued with account details for signing this on our website.
3: Qualification Approval form
You need to complete qualification approval for each qualification you wish to offer. This is completed on our website and full instructions are provided here.

2.1 / Describe your centre in terms of its history, experience and purpose. Please include the centre’s experience of delivery and assessment of learning, and specifically of credit based learning.
Pollenn CIC was Real Baby Milk CIC from 2006 – 2013. We became Pollenn CIC in 2013. Real Baby Milk is a project of Pollenn which underwent the name change to allow room for other projects. Here is a link to our history and aims
Between 2009 and 2017 we delivered accredited Peer Support with the Open College Network (OCN), which became Apt then Apted and in turn became Ascentis. We have trained over 400 in Breastfeeding Peer Supporter (Community). In 2013 we developed a local unit, Breastfeeding Peer Support in Hospital and have trained approximately 50 for this course. We have been Externally verified with these training providers and are looking to move to Aim awards to grow and develop our training using National Units. All our courses are Credit based learning. Our External verification visits have had excellent feedback. Assessment of the course has been with Assessment work books, practical skills assessments and Peer Witness statements.
