At the end of this lesson students should be able to:
·  Use suitable Synonyms and Antonyms to express ideas, views and emotions in speech and writing.
·  Differentiate between Synonyms and Antonyms.
·  Become familiar with various Synonyms and Antonyms.
VALUE: Synonyms and antonyms are important areas of study; they increase vocabulary –avoiding repetition and advance reading/writing skills.
MATERIALS AND AIDS (What you will need in order to teach this lesson):
·  White board and white board markers.
·  Pens and pencils.

LESSON CONTENTS (What will be taught)
Students will be taught how to:
·  Define individual terms Synonym and Antonym.
·  Appropriately use of Synonyms and Antonyms according to context in speech / writing.
·  Identify accurate synonyms or antonyms for words selected for lesson.
