Room Reservations:
Please make your reservation as soon as possible but latest by August 15, 2017 by calling the hotel directly -(877 280-0751), identifyingyourself as a member of ALRONA and using the group code of ALR. You may also reserve your room online through the web by visiting and again use the group code.
Room Rate: $139, plus 13%state tax, local occupancy fee of $1.00 and state hotel fee of $5.00 per room.A very limited number of rooms are available at the aforementioned price on 9/29, 9/30 and 10/04. Check-In time is 4 PM; check-out time is 11 AM.For those of you driving in, we have received a discounted parking rate of $19.00 per night. A sizable room block has been contracted, but please reserve early for the best availability. Cancellations: A one-night penalty will be charged for cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to arrival.
To help keep track of bookings and to budget for our events, it is imperative that you complete the enclosed Attendance Checklist and return it with your check (if applicable) as soon as possible, but no later than August 15, 2017 to Margaret Eaton, 239 Lee Ave, Hicksville NY 11801.
Following are the plans for the Convention:
Sunday, October 01, 2017, 6 PM – 8 PM. An informal “Meet-and greet”get-together with a complimentary glass of wine or beer and refreshments. A cash bar will be available.
Monday,October 02, 2017,9 AM – 1 PM – Business Meeting
Receive your name tags and Savannah Cruisetickets starting at 8 AM. ALRONA status report, overview of the convention, elections and guest speakers. A detailed printed agenda will be available at the meeting and will be posted on our website at as soon as it is completed. A coffee break is planned during the course of the morning.
Monday, October 02, 2017,6PM -Savannah River Boat Cruise! Boarding time is 6:00 PM – Sailing Time is 7:00 PM. The dock is a short 15 minute leisurely 6 Block walk. There are no steps onto the dock or boat and once on board there are elevators! Tickets for the Savannah River Boat Cruise will be free for ALRONA members; the non-member charge is $65.00. The Cruise Departs at 7:00 PM and returns at 9:00 PM.There will be House entertainment for listening and dancing along with a buffet featuring a variety of salads, vegetables, fruit, with Prime Rib, Chicken Breast,
Fresh Catch, Shrimp and Grits, dessert, iced Tea, Coffee and soft Drinks. Please check out and visit
Tuesday, October 03 2017, 7 PM – 11 PM - Dinner Dance. Music provided by All About You Entertainment and a full course dinner will include, salad, three choices for the main course and a dessert. Complimentary wine, beerand iced teais included with dinner. Please indicate your main course choice as outlined on the Attendance Checklist. Dinner is sponsored by ALRONA for ALRONA members. A $70charge applies for non-members.

Please make all checks payable to the Lufthansa Federal Credit Union (indicate ALRONA in the memo section). For non-members: $70 for dinner, $65 for outing = Total $135. Non-US guests are requested to pay cash at the convention.
