All About Me Video
Assignment:
You are going to create a video about yourself so I can get to know your likes, interest and all about you! You can include your favorite hobbies, what you did this summer, where you were born, your age, etc. We can brainstorm out loud in class on ideas to include in your video and you can use your all about me sheet. You are not limited to just the questions on that worksheet and remember that I am seeing this video, so it’s a video to let your teacher know a little bit more about yourself.
You can be creative with music, pictures and theme. You can get pictures by going on the internet to websites and google images. You can use your phone because you would be using it for academic purposes but remember- don’t take advantage or you will lose the privilege to get pictures off your phone or take a picture.
Example of what you could find on the computer:
-Your favorite food is pizza. You go to google images and find a picture of pizza.
-Your favorite city is Dallas, Texas. You could go to google images and find a picture of Dallas, Texas.
That tells me 2 things about you right there, you like pizza and one of your favorite places is Dallas, Texas. You could find a picture of Geyser Falls or anywhere you have been that you like OR that you would like to go!!!!
How you create the video
First- You need to have logged on to a computer.
Second- You are going to use the site Animoto. You will need to set up a login and password. Record this password because you will want to go back to this website to pull up your video. That is how you save your video. (it is not saved to the desktop)
Third- Before starting, you need to learn how to make an Animoto video. Do everything you can to make sure you know how to make the video before starting your own.
Fourth- You need to plan your video. Are you going to import your own school appropriate music or will you use the music that is provided? Also, you will need to plan what you will include in your video. This will require you finding your pictures and uploading them to your account on Animoto. The pictures are merged together create the video.
