ALKOXY CURE SILICONE SEALANT FOR CLEAN ROOM USE

TOSSEAL 80-SC (SUPER CLEAN)

TOSSEAL 80-SC is a one-component alkoxy cure silicone sealant, which cures to a flexible rubber upon contact with moisture in the air. The low-molecular-weight siloxane content, which is found in silicone sealing material and is a source of contamination, has been reduced as far as possible in this product. TOSSEAL 80-SC is designed for the clean room use for the production of semiconductor and precision electronic devices.

HANDLING AND SAFETY

  • Thoroughly clean substrate with a suitable solvent such as alcohol, acetone, or toluene. Allow to dry completely before proceeding.
  • Wear eye protection and protective gloves when handling this product. Do not get uncured sealant in the eyes or mouth. Extended contact of uncured sealant with the skin may cause irritation and should be avoided.
  • Sealing material may change color when in contact with some synthetic rubbers such as EPT and chloroprene.
  • Adequate ventilation must be maintained in the work place at all times.

STORAGE

  • Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
