About the Alabama City/County Management Association: ACCMA is an organization that works to promote and protect Alabama’s local government by increasing the proficiency and professionalism of municipal and county managers and administrators through education, training, association, and mutual exchange of information. The ACCMA works in cooperation with the Alabama League of Municipalities (ALM), the Association of County Commissions of Alabama (ACCA), and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) in the production of meaningful research and information.

Benefits of ACCMA Membership: Advance notification of ACCMA’s Conferences and events as well as the conferences of the ALM, ACCA, and ICMA; Membership Directory; official lapel pin; access to educational opportunities, information and resources; official website at < and a network of people from across Alabama who support the purposes of the ACCMA.

Classifications of ACCMA Membership:

Regular – City, Town and CountyManagers; Administrators; Clerks who exercise management authority over departments of the city or county government; and Assistants, Assistants to or Administrative Assistants to any of the aforementioned officials or to any elected official.

Associate – Members in good standing of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA); City and County Clerks and Assistant City and County Clerks in Alabama not eligible for Regular membership; Mayors and Council Members, Commission Chairpersons and Commissioners, whose city or county is a member of the ALM and the ACCA; ALM and ACCA staff members; faculty members of an institution of higher learning in the State of Alabama; and any other persons approved by the ACCMA Board of Directors.

Corporate - Businesses, firms, and corporations authorized to conduct business in the State of Alabama whose business, in the opinion of the ACCMA Board of Directors, supports the purpose of the ACCMA.

Student – Students enrolled in a degree program offered by an accredited college or university, whose intent is to engage in a profession in public service.

Membership Dues:

Regular Members – $50.00 Associate Members – $50.00

Corporate Members – $100.00Student Members – $10.00
