The Organizing Committee and Management of the A.S.K. Kisumu Regional Show have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the 2016 Show scheduled for27th to 31st July, 2016 at Mamboleo Showground.

a)SHOW THEME

“Enhancing Technology in Agriculture and Industry for Food Security and National Growth”

“Kuimarisha Teknologia ya Kilimo Na Viwanda Ili Kujitosheleza Kwa Chakula na Ustawi wa Taifa”

b)2016 SHOW PARTICIPATION FEE

Open Space:

Small – Kshs. 56,500

Medium –Kshs. 78,500

Large - Kshs. 106,500

(Exhibitors erect tents on open space at their own cost)

Ready Stand:

Kshs. 25 per square feet.

(Exhibitors renovate existing structures to suit their requirements at own cost)

Additional fixed charges:

Cleansing / conservancy- Kshs. 5,000

Show Logo- Kshs. 1,500

Trade stands judging competition (optional) per class– Kshs.1, 500

c)WATER & ELECTRICITY

You will be required to apply to the Kisumu Water Company and Kenya Power for supply of water and electricity respectively.

d)MODE OF PAYMENT

The Society does not accept cash payments. The following are the acceptable modes of payments;

e)CONFIRMING PARTICIPATION

You are requested to fill in the attached show participation form and send the original copy back to our offices; addressed to the Branch Manager, on/or before 30th May,2016. If we do not hear from you by this date, it shall be assumed that you will not participate in this year’s Show. The Management will therefore be at liberty to allocate the stand to another prospective applicant.

The Society 2016 calendar of events is available on our website A copy of the same is hereby attached.

g)LOUD MUSIC DURING THE TRADE FAIR IS PROHIBITED

You are reminded to observe and comply with the gazetted regulations including Noise & Excessive Vibrations Pollution Control Regulation 2009 Part 11 (3.1)

“No person shall make or cause to be made any loud, unreasonable, unnecessary, or unusual noise which annoys, disturbs, injures or endangers the comfort, response, health or safety of others and the environment.”

h)ENTRY TO THE SHOWGROUND

Membership

Membership Badges that facilitate entry to the showground are currently on sale at the Accounts Offices inMamboleo Showground. The categories are as follows:-

Executive Badges - Kshs. 8,500/=

Full member badges - Kshs. 3,000/=

Single member badges - Kshs. 2,000/=

NB: National Identity cards or passports will be required at the gates for validation of membership badges.

Purchased at the gates in cash or through m-pesa.
