Acclaimed Higher Education Fair, ‘Global Education Interact- International’, to make it’s UAE Debut
Featuring 25 top-ranking universities from nine countries, The Chopras’ interactive higher education fair is expected to draw large crowds

Dubai, UAE- A graduate or Masters programme abroad can open students’ eyes to global opportunities. However, given factors such as stiff competition, cultural shock, high cost of living, and in some cases, the daunting task of having to learn a new language, most students might be intimidated at the thought of studying abroad.
Despite these setbacks, an extraordinarily high number of students from the UAE are now traveling to countries such as The United States, the United Kingdom, France, Ireland, and Australia etc. for their higher education needs.
To ease the transition ofUAE students from high school to a foreign university, the Chopras’ much-laudedhigher education initiative ‘The Global Education Interact- International’ (GEI) is all set to make its UAE debut from 19th to 21stJanuary 2017.
The fair will feature 25 universities from nine countries and unlike other education fairs, the GEI- International is interactive and informative, including events such as scholarship contests, quiz competitions, and on the spot admissions. Participating universities have confirmed that scholarships worth anything between AED 13,000 to AED 22,000 will be made available to deserving students.
Students with a penchant for studying engineering can partake in the ‘Cardiff Engineering for the Future- Bridge for Sustainable Cities” and the ‘Electric Car’ competition, for which they will have to pre-register on the email
The fair also provides in-depth counseling with highly trained career counselors, course selection guidance, and post-departure briefing and support post-arrival.
The fair in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will feature 25 top-ranking universities from across countries such as The United States, The United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Ireland, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, and Switzerland. Some of the universities set to partake at GEI include Cardiff University, Loughborough University,Stirling University, etc.
