Here at Tracy Williamson – Venue Styling and Floral Design we have created a step by step guide to help you with planning your wedding flowers.

With over 5 years of experience within the wedding and events industry we have designed and styled many occasions and as we are the recommended supplier to many venues our diary is busy, however we will always try and accommodate last minute bookings if possible. We are a certified member of the British Florist Association which means that we are committed to follow their expected standards of excellence service to our customers as well as achieving and delivering high quality products.

Initial Enquiry

The majority of couples initially enquire through our website, by telephone on 07932 665522 where we will advise you of our availability and briefly discuss your vision for your wedding day. If we are available and you are happy we will then arrange a complimentary Design Consultation at a mutually convenient time and place.

Design Consultation

Your wedding journey with Tracy Williamson starts with getting to know a little about each other at a Design Consultation. Our aim for our meeting is to understand the underlying thread that will run throughout your wedding day and to eliminate any stress that you may be experiencing.

As a venue stylist and floral designer it is important that we understand your vision for the day so we will ask many questions about everything from outfits, colour scheme and venue décor to your likes and dislikes so we recommend that you set aside an hour or so for our initial meeting. It is also helpful if you can bring along any images of designs that you like or your Pinterest board, and certainly an image of your wedding dress as we prefer to design the bouquets to complement the cut and style of your dress. Here we will also be able to advise you of what flowers will be in season for the time of year that your wedding will take place.

At the end of the Design Consultation we will have gained a clear vision of the types of flowers you love, your unique style and colour preferences and of the designs you like and then we can create a bespoke estimate, designed especially for you.

Wedding Flowers* Guide Price

It is also helpful if you could consider your flower budget before we meet. As we offer a bespoke service we are unable to provide an estimate without discussing your ideas in depth, however we are able to give an approximate price guide as a starting point (based on Autumn/Winter 2016 rates). Once we have met we will be able to give you an accurate estimate which reflects your personal requirements.

*We will always endeavor to create your event flowers with your preference of blooms, however on rare occasions we may need to substitute with a suitable alternative.

How to Book

Once you are happy with the flowers we have discussed we will then send you an estimate detailing the style of arrangements, the flowers and foliage that we propose to use, together with all materials, hired items and travel costs. If you are happy to proceed with the order we will require a non-refundable booking fee, together with a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions of Hire which will ensure that you have secured our services. You can then relax, safe in the knowledge that we will create beautiful floral arrangements, designed especially for you on your wedding day.

Please note that we are unable to save your date until you have paid your booking fee so we recommend that you secure your booking as soon as possible after receiving your written estimate to avoid disappointment.

Before your Wedding Day

Once you have secured your date we will be on hand to answer any questions which you may have, including a site visit if required (this may incura travel charge which will be added to your final invoice). We will contact you around 6 weeks prior to your wedding day to finalise all the finer details of your wedding flowers and to make any necessary amendments. We will then prepare and issue your final invoice which is due fourweeks before your big day.

On your Wedding Day

We will personally deliver all your wedding party flowers between 2-4 hours before your wedding at a time and location agreed beforehand. We prefer to deliver the flowers in person to the Bride so we know that you are happy with our work and we also get to see you on the final phase of your wedding journey.

All ceremony and venue flowers will be set up on the day by our expert Venue Styling team and this will be taken down and collected the following day, unless arranged otherwise.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

The price for goods will be stipulated in writing within your estimate, however we reserve the right to make adjustments to the price to take into account of any increase due to the fluctuations in the flower market or the imposition of any additional taxes or duties.

An initial consultation and detailed estimate are included in our costings for your wedding. Any consultations or amendments thereafter will incur an additional fee. If you require an additional consultation/site visit at your venue we will charge a fee of £25.00 per hour plus travel costs.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of your order which served as your booking fee is required to confirm all bookings and your booking is not secured until this is received, together with a signed copy of these Terms and Conditions. The remaining balance is due four weeks prior to your wedding day.

We will aim to create your wedding flowers with your chosen flowers and foliage but as they are a natural product, and if by any circumstances beyond our control of they are unavailable, for example, due to being out of season, unavailable or of a standard that we deem not high enough to use then we reserve the right to use a suitable replacement.

All items hired from Tracy Williamson – Venue Styling and Floral Design such as glassware, mirror plates, props etcremain our property and collection will be arranged prior to delivery with yourself or your venue. Any broken, damaged or misplaced items are your responsibility and an invoice will be issued to cover any loss or damage and this must be paid upon receipt.

The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England, Scotland and Wales. We operate a complaints procedure and these will be dealt with in a fair and confidential manner. In the first instance any complaint should be addressed to within 24 hours after your event.

We will take the upmost care and respect with the transportation and delivery of your flowers, however the limit of our liability shall not exceed the value of products supplied by Tracy Williamson – Venue Styling and Floral Design.
