EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Governmental & Financial Planning.:August 1984 – present

During this period the practice continued to perform audit, accounting and tax services. Mr. Clark obtained his insurance license and the Series 6 and 63 licenses. This enabled Mr. Clark to expand his practice into sales of various insurance, fixed and variable products. In addition to sales, Mr. Clark also assists clients in business valuations and estate and gift tax valuations. Mr. Clark also assists clients in conducting due diligence in the purchase of new business.

Jack N. Clark, C.P.A., P.C.:January 1979 – August 1984

In January 1979, Jack purchased an accounting firm in Lampasas. Since going into private practice, experience includes all areas of auditing, tax practice, accounting, and financial, estate and gift planning. In five years, the firm expanded from a two person staff to a staff of nine. The audit department expanded at a great rate to include all types of audits from small local businesses to banks, local governments and school districts. In January 1981, the firm was incorporated with Jack Clark as president and audit partner.

Ark-Tex Council of Governments: June 1978 – December 1978

Director of Finance and Administration. Experience included all areas of budgeting, grant programs, personnel evaluation and performance, and accounting systems evaluation and implementation. Duties included administration of all Federal and State grant programs.

U.S. Government: September 1975 – June 1978

Mr. Clark’s experience within the government included program auditor for USDA’s Women, Infant and Children Program as well as Internal auditor for U.S. Treasury Department and grant auditor for the U.S. Commerce Department. He obtained experience in all areas of grant programs including audit of local government entities. He us also experienced in systems analysis, compliance auditing and administrative controls and budgeting.
