ii Daddy Daughter Dance

All board members were in attendance and helped throughout the dance

Things went smoothly and access to the kitchen was helpful.

The need to pay for kitchen access next year should be considered.

The dance has increased the Facebook page to more than 1300 likes

It was suggested we raise the rates next year to

Dad and one Daughter:from $15.00 to $20.00

Dad and two daughters:from $20.00 to $25.00

Dad and three daughters:from $25.00 to $30.00

Discussed honoring Jane Webster’s service to CSAPR

iii Conference Information

Amanda attended director’s conference in Lansing.

iv. Technology update

Credit Card usage is down

Website was used about the same.

Our Facebook page picks up about 1 person each week.

Need to develop guidelines for boosting posts on Facebook with marketing committee

v. CSPS Update

Amanda will meet with Superintendent VanDuyn tomorrow regarding Math and Literacy camps.

vi. Community Building Project

Needed land has been acquired and they received an anonymous donation of $170,000.

vii. Evaluations of Director:

Did not get a good response on evaluations – only received 7 of 10

  1. The committee assignments were revised and a new list will be printed.

  3. CSPS Superintendent Dr. Laura VanDuyn introduced herself to our board.
  4. Amanda displayed the proposals for the new logo and gave magnet pricing.

  2. Alexis moved the marketing committee develop the guidelines for Facebook boosting. Seconded by Betty Vanderwal and carried.
  3. Betty Vanderwal moved we use the lower left (design 3) as our new magnet logos. Seconded by Patsy Baar and carried.
  4. Shannon Vanderhyde moved we purchase the new logo magnets for up to $500.00. Seconded by Barb Veenstra and carried.
  5. Betty Vanderwal moved the increase of Daddy Daughter Dance rates as discussed. Seconded by Barb Veenstra and carried. The new rates are
