100 Day of School Project

The 100th Day of School celebration will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017! On this day we will be exploring the number 100 through various activities. Students are being assigned a project that will be due on this day. Your third grader will create a display poster board or shoebox using 100 objects. Items that have been used in the past are marbles, food items (i.e. cereal and candy), hair bows, and small toys. Students can choose to display 10 of ten different items to make 100, 20 of five different items, or 100 different items. Each student will also present their project to the class. Everyone is expected to complete the project and it will be counted toward your student’s math grade. Have fun with your child and get creative!
