It’s HEART HEALTHY MONTH!Wear RED Every TUESDAYto honor those who suffer and who have died from heart disease. Getting – and staying – active can reduce your risk of developing heart disease. It can also be a great mood booster and stress buster. Do 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity every week. One way to achieve this target is by doing 30 minutes of activity on five days a week. Fit it in where you can, such as by cycling to work.

The Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) at Texas State University is now accepting applications for the 2016 Youth Preparedness Camp. The center will scholarship teams of 10 individuals (9 youth and 1 adult) to attend camp, which will take place June 12 – 16, 2016 at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Submit all application materials together by April 29, 2016. Visit the TxSSC Youth Preparedness webpage to complete your team application today!

Seniors, apply for the ATPE Scholarship. Applications may be obtained from Ms. Giddens and are due February 26th. NHS Alumni Scholarship Applications are due March 3rd.
