Your Story & Your Beliefs

Your Story & Your Beliefs

Your Story & Your Beliefs

Are beliefs are deeply ingrained in us. Borne from our stories, our upbringings, our experiences and what we have seen.

And the tricky thing about beliefs, is that once that belief seeds inside of us, then we start to see evidence of it everywhere – we actually look for supporting evidence to prove to ourselves it is true. We prepare for the actions from those beliefs to play out we put our protection mechanism in place to stop that happening to us. So in the end it comes like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

We can’t often put our finger on our beliefs. They just are. Its not like they have a title and exist in a catalogue, they are just part of you.

This exercise asks you to start looking at your story and your beliefs. I am asking you to get real here. Capturing this information on paper is valuable to see your world for what it is, rather than the vortex of what is going on in your head.

Look at the stories that have shaped you and what you have taken from those. There is no right or wrong here. This may give you some incredible insights, and it may just be an exercise and getting clear on what has shaped you. Either way it is very powerful.

The stories we capture here will be used later in the program as well, so this is a great exercise to invest time in.

Enjoy. Feel. Reflect!!
