You will write a well written, 5 paragraph essay. The essay should be organized as follows:

  • Paragraph 1 – Introduction: hook, thesis statement; present what you will be discussing
  • Paragraph 2 – Comparison of Ann Bradstreet and Jonathan Edwards: You should discuss each author’s view on the following: 1) Eternal Life,2) God's relation to people,3) Religious Beliefs,4) Human Frailty. Support your comparisons through examples from each ofthe author'sworks in the text.
  • Paragraph 3 – Cotton Mather: Short Biography; 1 example/excerpt oftheir work; Answer the question: Based on theexcerpt you gave,speculate whether the author would prefer Anne Bradstreet's or Jonathon Edward's version of a Puritan God.
