What is an EFQM Licenced Trainer?

EFQM Licenced Trainers are experts who have been certified by EFQM to deliver official EFQM Training Courses.

EFQM Licenced Trainers have a thorough understanding of the EFQM Excellence Model and have a track-record in the field of training, in the general field of management and/or organisational improvement

EFQM Licenced Trainers are listed on the EFQM website.

Becoming a Licenced Trainer

An EFQM Licenced Trainer must deliver his training courses on behalf of an organisation, which has been an EFQM memberfor at least one year. An EFQM LicencedTrainer must demonstrate proven experience in the field of training delivery for a period of at least 2 years.

We expect a minimum of 2 references from previous clients that demonstrate their satisfaction with the knowledge and services provided by the applicant in training delivery.

An EFQM LicencedTrainermust have, and maintain through attending regular training at EFQM, a proven working knowledge of the EFQM Excellence Model. This would include:

Being a current EFQM Assessor i.e. having passed a 2013 EFQM Assessor Training course or a qualified 2013upgrade course delivered by EFQM

Acting as an Assessor or Validator in the EFQM Levels of Excellence recognition scheme.

Practical experience of implementing the EFQM Excellence Model within organisations.

LicencedTrainers are then requested to sign a LicencedTrainer agreement and asked to accept and uphold the EFQM code of conduct.

Obtaining a Licence

An EFQM LicencedTrainercan obtain the Licences to deliver the Basic Assessor Training (BAT), Journey to Excellence course (J2E),Leaders for Excellence course (L4E) and Internal Assessor Training(IAT) To obtain the licences for the courses, LicencedTrainers are requested to attend and pass the three day Trainer Accreditation Workshop.

After having successfully passed the course you are then eligible to follow the individual onlineTrainer accreditation modules. A LicencedTrainermay choose whether to obtain the Licence for one course only or for all three.

Delivering EFQM LicencedTraining Courses

An EFQM LicencedTrainer must purchase the training materials for the BAT, J2E,L4E and IAT courses from EFQM or one of its Partners prior to the delivery of the course.

An EFQM LicencedTrainer must comply with the royalty fee process and register their trainees on the EFQM website.

Once the trainees are registered on the EFQM website and royalty fees secured, LicencedTrainers will be provided with official EFQM diplomas for distribution to all the attendees and thenamesof these diploma holders will be added to the EFQM central database

Retaining the Licence

The licences will be reviewed annually to review:

Knowledge of the EFQM Excellence Model

Performance in providing training services to clients

The evidence we would expect to be provided by the EFQM Licenced Trainer prior to this review would be:

Summary of activities as a LicencedTrainer in the course of the year (number of courses, number of people trained and overall feedback on the quality of the service delivered)

Attendance at relevant training to ensure knowledge of the EFQM Excellence Model is up to date. N.B. This is especially important following the launch of a new version of the Model.

Testimonials from a minimum of 3 attendees during the previous 12 months to demonstrate their satisfaction with the knowledge and services provided.

Actions taken to actively engage clients with EFQM.

An EFQM LicencedTrainer is required to deliver at least one EFQM course per year to retain the EFQM licenses. There is a formal review at the end of the year with a member of EFQM staff.

What do you get?

If your application is approved, you will be eligible to attend the Trainer Accreditation Workshop and you will be asked to sign an EFQM LicencedTrainer agreement. Upon signature, and, once the licence is obtained, you will:

Receive confirmation and the diploma from EFQM along with the EFQM Licenced Trainer logo

Be added to the list of Licenced Trainers on the EFQM website

Receive access to the EFQM training materials for the licenced courses

Distribute certified EFQM diplomas to your J2E ,L4E and IAT courses attendees

As there is a limited number of spaces on the trainer accreditation workshops EFQM has the right to choose the most appropriate candidates for the session.
