Wednesday Community Meal

The community meal on February 4will beapple chicken salad wraps, chicken wild rice soup, chips, and cookies. For those going to the movie, and won’t have time to eat at church, a bag supper of the wrap, chips & cookie will be available. The Trinity Choir is scheduled for February 4th. Confirmation Parents are scheduled for February 11th.

CTKB will host Families Moving Forward - March 1-8

Opportunities for hospitality include- Sunday, March 1: set up sleeping areas

Each evening: prepare and serve supper/kitchen cleanup -evening hosts/keep children company with activities, movies, etc - overnight hosts/set out light breakfast

Saturday, March 7: prepare and serve hot breakfastSunday, March 8: take down and clean up - See the signup board in the Commons. Invite a friend to sign up with you. You are never “too new” to help. If you have not volunteered before and prefer working with someone with experience, see the signup sheet and ask one of the “regulars” about teaming up. Also, talk with one of the coordinators: Becky Buhler (CTKB/FMF Communications), Peggy Indahl (Volunteers), Suzan Pederson and Jamie Keefe (Daily Lead), Mike Vogel (Setup/Take Down), Verla Olson (Meal Coordinator). Christ the King’sFoundation supports the ministry of the church and the community. We have averaged gifts totaling $10,000each year to youth ministry, VEAP, and Bridging, to name a few. In 2015, we are asking the congregation for ideas of church and community programs to gift money. You will find a “Tree” in the commons area and a supply of leaves – please give us your ideas by placing your completed leaf on the tree. Each quarter we will gift $2,500 based on the congregation ideas. We are looking forward to your ideas, our tree growingMANYleaves AND a fun year of giving!
