Currently creating a web site devoted to EU-sponsored TACIS project “Antimonopoly and State Aid Control”. My task list includes creation of legal documents database (MS Access), client interface (VB) and identical web interface (ASP).

WEB Developer for a software company “Ampersand Inc.” Dec. 2001 – June 2002

Contractor in project “VeriCall”– online work time tracking system for health care / home service companies. The system registers employees’ calls when he/she enters or leaves some site. Thus a total number of working hours can be calculated. Team size: 3.

  • Involved in the design and implementation of web-interface controls by using JavaScript and DOM;
  • Developed a library of client-side JavaScript functions for working with date and time (DST and time zones adjustments, visit length calculations, local time / server time conversion);
  • Developed server-side ActiveX object for creating employee’s activity reports in MS Word format.

WEB Developer for “ABB Software Development Center.” January 2001 – June 2001

Contractor in project “TrafoNet“ which is an online system for managing worldwide sales of transformers. The system is tracking the sales across the world and keeps client’s orders, quotes and sales reps’ personal records in the database. A number of reports can be generated on the data. The project was run on MS IIS 4.0 using ASP and MS Access. Team size: 4.

Actively participated in the completion phase of the project: finished WEB-based user interface and modified back-end ActiveX objects.

  • Involved in the design and implementation of DHTML interface menus by using JavaScript and DOM;
  • Developed and implemented ActiveX business objects (VB6 DLLs) and data interfaces for the site hosted on MTS.

Software engineer “IT Solutions, Ltd.” October. 2000 – December 2000

Part-time job. Involved in the development of the “Form Assembler” – an MFC application for WYSIWYG PostScript forms creation. Developed a component for making an ASCII-dump from *.mdb and *.dbf files. Wrote a utility to convert the dump into PS format accepted by the system.

Non-commercial project:

A native Win32 application (real-time strategy game) written in C++ which is currently v. 1.2 and features:

  • DirectX and DirectSound APIs;
  • Heavily usage of OOP: Unit classes inheritance. Up to 5000 objects;
  • TCP/IP multiplayer;
  • Multiple resolutions, scrolled game field, group selection, radar, difficulty settings, etc.
