Clubhouse Protocols

  1. The clubhouse is for the use of residents of the WWW community.
  2. Alcoholic consumption is allowed at scheduled events and in accordance with Maryland laws and regulations and subject to guidelines set by Howard County code.
  3. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the Clubhouse and adjoining terraces.
  4. Emergency exits are visible within the Clubhouse and shall not be blocked.
  5. Children (under the age of 15 years old) must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  6. Reservation of the Club House Rooms/Areas
  1. Residents/Community Groups: Any community resident wishing to reserve an area/room (board room, table area, lounge, card room, office) of the clubhouse for a meeting must contact First Real Estate Management (FREM) so that the time and date is reserved and posted on the community calendar. For example: The snow committee needs the Board Room for a 2-hour meeting on Monday December 25 at 1:00 PM or a new XXXX club wishes to meet the first Tuesday of every month at 8:00 AM. in the lounge area.
  2. The area/room can be reserved by a resident/group for a period of 3 months.
  3. (For example: The XXXX club reserves each Tuesday from January to March.
  4. Upon expiration they need to make a request for the next three (3) months.

c. A person/group with reserved time on the community calendar takes precedent

over a “walk in person/group.

d. Other Events... If the Clubhouse is to be used for a resident’s private event, an event that involves the selling of products or the potential solicitation of services

Reservations must be made with FREM and a lease/fee agreement completed.

7. Facilities Management

  1. There is only weekly cleaning service at the clubhouse.

b. Any resident or group using the club house facilities should understand that

it is their responsibility to clean up after themselves and events.

* The kitchen area may only be used to reheat food. No cooking is allowed.

* Wipe down all counters and tables used.

* Cleaning supplies are located in the cabinet next to the dishwasher. A mop,

broom and vacuum are available in the utility closet in the gym.

* Empty any glasses/cans of all fluids before discarding into the recycle bin.

* If trash / recycle cans are full, please place the bags in the dumpsters.

* Return furniture to their original position if moved for the event.

* Please do not leave unused food in the refrigerator/cabinets.

* Return utensils to the appropriate drawer for use by all residents.

* No one is permitted to decorate any area with anything that requires

Attachment with tape, pins, nails, etc.

* Tables used for eating purposes may be decorated but must be cleared and

Cleaned at the end of the event.

8.Televisions

Main Area of Club House

There are instructions on the console on how to use the remote/TV. When finished watching the TV please turn it off and leave the remote on the stand under the television.

Exercise Area.

Televisions: The remotes are programed to operate the televisions. When finished the remote should be used to turn off the television. You should see the FIOS name and message on the television screen. There is no need to touch the television itself. Please do not reprogram the remotes.

Fans: Fans may be turned on by the wall switches. Please turn them off before leaving the exercise area.

9. Club House Lights

The last person leaving the clubhouse should turn off the lights. The switches are located by the front door, in the exercise room to the left side of the door and at the end of the cabinets in the kitchen area. There are auxiliary/emergency lights that remain on so the clubhouse is never black.
