Wanted: Junior Camp Counselors, Ages 13-16, for the 2016Summer

What: Assist PreK/School-AgeCamp Teachers with group activities, field trips, and have FUN!

Camp hours are Monday-Friday from8:00a.m.-4:00 p.m. The program will beginWednesday, May 25, 2016and run through Friday, August 12, 2016. Scribbles will be closed on Monday, July 4th.

Cost of the program is: No cost as a Junior Counselor(tuition waived due to volunteer position)

You may sign up for any combination of weeks that you are available to volunteer. 14 days notice must be given in writing to cancel or change schedules. We will only staff 4-6 Jr. Counselors daily, so space is limited.

Lunch and daily snacks are provided.

Expectations: We will pair you with one of our Summer Camp Teachers to assist their group by helping to prepare daily materials and snacks, as well as assisting with games and activities. You will be expected to help individual children as needed to complete a task or activity. You will attend field trips with the group. Must have swimsuit, towel, and closed-toe shoes daily.

A mandatory staff orientationwill be held on Tuesday, May 24th from 2-3 pm to meet the other summer camp teachers, go over the camp calendar of field trips, position expectations, program policies, etc. If you are not able to make this meeting, you will need to contact the center to schedule a time to come in.
