Overall purpose of volunteer role:

We’re looking for a highly organised individual who would enjoy working in the charity’s Creative Services team.

This role will work with our Media Sales Manager, helping with the administrative work behind our advertising and sponsorship of our magazines and guides for people living with diabetes and healthcare professionals.

Main elements of volunteer role:

  • Obtaining quotes, raising purchase and raising sales orders
  • Project administration including collating artwork, text and photography from advertisers and sponsors.

Timescales

We hope that you will be able to volunteer for:

  • 1-2 days (flexible - this can be negotiated to suit the situation). Additional hours can be negotiated on an ad hoc basis by agreement between both parties and are available if requested.
  • Initially for a 3 month period with the opportunity for extension. It will be reviewed after 2 months.
  • For chosen candidates, informal interviews will be held w/c 4th November

  • Confident using a computer

Intellectual Property

The work you do for us is important to us and we value the rights that may exist in any work which you undertake. In some cases, it may be vital that we own and can prove we own such rights. Accordingly, we may ask you to complete, sign and return a separate assignment of such rights.
