Vic and Jerry Interview with Kris Aquino
Kris: We’ve been waiting this for so long and finally we have the two
of you together! Welcome to Manila!
Jerry: Hallo!
Vic: Thank you, Thank You (Vic whispering it)
Kris: Are you shy, Vic? (referring to Vic whose hiding beside Jerry)
Jerry: (Looks at Vic) Very Very shy..
Kris: Or your just pretending to be shy?
Jerry: Yeah, He’s like that everytime
Vic still hiding and not looking at Kris
Kris: Ok, lets start of with Jerry because you were here just three
weeks ago right? you really really connected so well with the fans.. I was
told you just came from Bejing? And the fans there are also so warm
towards you and you even had tears in yours eyes? Is that true because you
were touch?
Jerry speaks in Chinese
Then Shirely translates what Kris said
Shirely: He was very touch because of the fans that’s why he cried..
Kris: How many fans were there?
Jerry thinks hard says: Two.. umm then speaks in Chinese
Shirely: 2-3 Thousand
Kris: Where was it in a mall or outside?
Jerry: yeah um yeah In a Mall (has a hard time speaking but does he’s
best to speak in English)
Kris: I’m going to ask Vic now because people say that deep down inside
you’re really funny? Barbie last night was saying that you’re a joker…
so is that true that you have a really good sense of humor but you just
try to hide it?
Jerry tries to translate Kris is saying and Vic begins to giggle
Shirely then translates everything Kris says
Vic: Umm To ya…
Shirely: Its true.. He’s a joker and He’s Funny
Kris: and it is true that you were really interested in joining show
business? (Vic)
Jerry then answers for Vic and speaks in Chinese
Shirely: He doesn’t really want to enter in entertainment industry but
there were events that had happened so he entered already and now he’s
really happy that’s he’s career is successful.
Kris: Jerry why were you the one answering for him?
Jerry: umm umm… (Doesn’t know what to say and looks at Vic and Shirely)
Shirley then translates
Kris: Or he’s just shy?
Jerry: He’s just afraid to speak English so…
Shirely asks something to Jerry
Jerry: Yeah, Yeah..
Shirely: He’s afraid to speak in English that’s why he’s quiet.
Kris: Is he your big brother now or are you that close?
Shirely translates
Jerry: Mei You, Mei You Speaks in Chinese
Shirely: Good Friends!
Kris: Are you closest to him among the four of you? (Jerry looks at
Vic)
Jerry speaks in Chinese
Shirely: All the same treatment
Kris: are you aware Here in the Philippines there was a rivaly between
of the two of them the story of meteor garden?
Jerry speaks in Chinese
Shirely: They know.
Kris: so who do you think is the better looking you or him?
Jerry then points Vic and says: Him! Of Course!
Then Vic sits upright and looks at Jerry in What-are-you-saying kinda
face and Laughs
Kris: Oh really? How about you Vic who do you think is better looking?
Shirely translates Kris’s question
And then Jerry is trying to raise Vic’s hand but Vic removes
Shirely: He says he can be the one.
Kris: Are you going to play any musical instruments or just singing?
Jerry: Sing (with action)
Kris: Just singing? Dancing? I heard you dance pretty well?
Jerry: umm I want to but… a.. too tired…I cant.. im not very um…
(remember guys Vic and Jerry are sick that’s why)
Kris: aww… Why where did you come from before here?
Jerry speaks in Chinese
Shirely: He’s very tired because he just finshied filming a movie
“Magic Kitchen”
Kris: shot in Hong Kong?
Shirely translates
Jerry: Yeah in Hong Kong and Japanese (he said Japanese but its was
suppose to be Japan)
speaks in Chinese
Shirely: Lack of time to practice… (Kris Butts in)
Kris: Wait, wait In japan?
Jerry: Yes
Kris: also in Japan? You shot in Japan? Or No
Jerry speaks in Chinese
Shirely: They shop in japan
Kris: Ohh… So in Hong Kong and Japan two locations?
Jerry: ugh ugh.. (nods his head)
Shirely: Lack of time and limited time to rehearse so he hopes that
next time…
Kris: How bout you Vic the show finish airing so are you working on
something new? A film or a new Tv series?
Shirely translates
Jerry speaks up
Kris: Vic, Vic im getting really sad because you don’t wanna talk to
me..
Laughs
Jerry then talks to Vic in Chinese and then says : always look here and
points to Kris
Vic nods his head but still shy and smiles
Kris: No he doesn’t even wanna look…
Laughs
Jerrys still talks to Vic
Vic finally talks and ask Shirely to translate
(This funny because you could see them talking at the same time and by
pairs)
Kris: (Jerry) Is he really like that or tired?
Jerry: Umm Shy
Shirely: He’s very shy, He’s that his English is not OK that’s why he
doesn’t wanna talk.
Kris: But we don’t care.. even though you don’t speak in English Its Ok
Vic then speaks in Chinese
Shirely: He’s always half-beat slow that’s why he cant answer right
ahead.
