I played a key role in applying the offshore onsite model to CRM engagements and was responsible for developing Cognizant’s CRM methodology. Siebel Implementation and Integration
SiebelECDB Integration is an enhancement to the existing Siebel application to integrate more than one business unit into a single application. The business processes across the organization have been mapped and a common process has been developed. An Enterprise wide Customer Database (ECDB) for Sallie Mae has been designed to consolidate all customer information at a single location. The scope of this project includes implementing new functionality for Siebel SFA as well as integrating it with ECDB making sure that the Sales Reps get the right information at the right time. The project involved implementation of realtime integration on TIBCO as well as ETL implementation on Informatica.
New initiatives that have started up include implementation of Siebel Analytics.

Implementation of Siebel Call center as a scripting tool and integration with back end systems and legacy desktop applications
Scripting Tool is based on customization of the Call Center module of Siebel 7.5.2 Enterprise Application. Scripting Tool integrates with OASIS desktop application at various levels i.e. Desktop Integration, Weblogic Server Integration and Reporting DB Integration, which serves as a Call Center application for JPMCCCS. Scripting Tool uses Actuate Reports to provide reporting functionality. Siebel is integrated with Actuate eReporting Server to produce online and scheduled batch reports.

Project Abstract
McSource is a marketleading medical management solution for Insurance companies/ Healthcare Funds dealing with healthcare and medical Insurance. It integrates a comprehensive data warehouse, analytic engine and suite of decision support applications. The first part of the project involved the porting of ETL logic for the datawarehouse in C++ from Redbrick Informix to Oracle 8i. ODBC drivers from Merant were used to make the code portable to other databases. The second part of the project involved the development of a Java /EJB based front end for the DSS tool. The application server hosted components were used both for querying and for triggering batch jobs on the datawarehouse.

TurboDice is a datamining and analytical CRM tool based on neural network algorithms and visual display of up to 10 dimensions. The product existed on SGI/Irix platform. The project involved the porting of this version to Windows NT/2000 with significant enhancements. SkyOn has developed a hierarchy of classes called “Commonsense Framework”. The project involved the synthesis of this code within the MFC “Document/ View” architecture while preserving the platform independence of the framework. Additionally, the architecture and design for making the commonsense framework platform independent using Java /EJB on BEA Weblogic Application Server. The proposed architecture makes use of JNI for interfacing with the existing C++ code where performance would be highly desirable along with components hosted on the application server.

Project Abstract
EICMS involved the development of a web based product for ISD Corporation .The product enables completely automating the lifecycle of a case in a court of justice from start to end. It also enables audits and statistical reports on the cases. This product covers all types of cases like criminal and civil cases. The product has to cater to the requirements of different user roles with appropriate personalization and security features. The 3 – tier architecture based on Microsoft DNA was adopted for the product. The target databases for this system are Oracle, SQL Server and DB2. The middletier components were being developed in VB and VC++ and run in a COM+ environment. The backend database for the first release was Oracle 8i with middletier components interacting with PL/SQL stored procedures. The webbased interface is scripted using ASP, HTML, client side JavaScript and DHTML. The reports are generated using the webenabled version of Crystal Reports. Standard sets of data are exchanged in XML format between the web server and the browser. The system was interfaced with an XML based system for attorneys filing their cases over the Internet. The project used object oriented, iterative and rapid application development lifecycle with tool based visual modeling using UML.

Project Abstract
The project involved the development of a web based election analysis website for Rediff. The site was launched live to coincide with the Indian general elections of 1999.The analysis is carried out on detailed constituency level maps. Project Abstract
The project involved the development of a visual query, drilldown and reporting web application with geographical analysis. The application was based on a datawarehouse existing on an Informix database. The application was developed using ASP /IIS on Windows NT 4.0. MapInfo MapXtreme and SpatialWare were used to provide geographical display and analysis capabilities. The components for the middle tier were developed in VB. The application enables the comparison of sales of different of soft drinks of the company and it's competitors at various geographical levels. It also lets the user drill down based on spatial and nonspatial dimensions. It makes use of the ”datablade” technology of Informix to store, retrieve and query spatial data. It also gives "click and point" functionality for getting information about an area from the map.

PUPIS
The project involved the development of a visual analysis and fault location tool for municipal/civic authorities involved in maintenance and planning of civic facilities in urban areas. The project involved the development of a ground water analysis tool using GIS meant for the Central Ground Water Board .It captures and analyses information about various ground water attributes like depth, chemical content and rainfall. The application uses the client server model with the database being spatially enabled to store geographic data. The client side application makes use of OLE automation to communicate with external GIS tools and other applications. The application was developed using Visual Basic 5,MapBasic, SpatialWare and Oracle. The intensive calculations and statistical functions where coded in external C DLLs for maximum performance.
