These portfolios should contain: the recipe, items purchased, amount of purchases, and a brief summary of what the student learned from each experience. GRADING:

Each assignment equals 5 points. The portfolio and final equal 25 points each. Grades are as follows:

195-176 = A5 = A 25-23 = A

175-156 = B4 = B22-20 = B

155-136 = C3 = C19-18 = C

135-117 = D2 = D17-15 = D

116-0 = F1 = F14-0 = F

An “A” cooking or sewing product involves the student learning how to do some skill or method that they did not know how to do before the assignment. Also, “A” students neatly, creatively, and thoroughly document their work. The goal here is to learn some new skills and to have fun doing it! Please call, make an appointment, or email me if you have any comments, concerns, or questions.
