The Chaplet of Divine Mercyis recited on Monday and Friday evenings at 7pm at the Divine Mercy Shrine inSt. Joseph’s Church.

Parish Together: group will meet Monday 12th September at 8pm in the Parish Centre.

Legion of Mary Bus to Knock: The Dromore bus will stop at St. Joseph’s Church, Ederney at 9am on Sunday 25thSeptember. Anyone wishing to travel please contact any Legion of Mary member. Fare £15.

A Triduum in preparation for the Feast of St. Padre Pio will take place at the Franciscan Friary, Rossnowlagh from Tuesday 20th September until Friday 23rd September. There will be Mass, Homily and Blessing of Relic at 7.30pm each evening. Preacher will be Fr. Pius McLaughlin OFM who met Padre Pio.

All are very welcome for these prayerful celebrations.

Message from Patsy Monaghan: A special word of thanks from Patsy Monaghan for the wonderful celebration Mass and Presentation marking 40years as Sacristan of St. Patrick’s Church, Montiagh.

Particular thanks to all who helped organize the event, those who took part and attended, and all the many people who sent well-wishes.

It was a truly fantastic night and one I will not forget. It has been my pleasure to serve the Parish this past 40 years and I hope to be blessed with good health to continue for many more years to come. God Bless.

Themed Retreat Days:

A Day of Friendship & Prayer– Wednesday 14th September 2016: This unique day offers an opportunity for friends and neighbours from different churches to celebrate their Christian faith together in prayer and friendship. The keynote speaker will be Church of Ireland Bishop of Meath & Kildare – Most Reverend Pat Storey.

Boats are available from 10.00am. On arrival on the Island, tea/coffee and scones are served. Key Note Address @ 12 noon followed by Prayer Service and light lunch. Return boat at 2:30pm. Admission includes all services, boat transfer to and from the Island, refreshments and light lunch: €25.00 / £22.00

Living with Suicide Retreat on Lough Derg- Wednesday 21st September 2016(9.30am- 4pm).Lough Derg offers a special retreat day to support people who have been affected by suicide, either through personal loss, those who minister to the suicide bereaved or work in support services.

Booking is essential for this event. It is only suitable for adults. Boats are available from 9.15am and return approximately 4pm.
