Luncheon Talk on“Pitfalls and Procedures in Tenancy” (in Cantonese)

No matter you are a property professional, developer, landlord or tenant of office, retail, residential or industrial building, you may come across issues in respect of tenancy, which may affect your professional or daily life.

We have much pleasure to have invited Mr Shum Cheuk Pan, Sam (沈卓斌), Partner of Woo Kwan Lee & Lo to share with us his insights on the captioned topic. Mr Shum has practiced as a solicitor for more than 18 years in civil litigation. His main area of practice focuses on property related matters including tenancy, building management, compulsory sale of land, adverse possession and contract dispute.

In this luncheon talk, the following will be discussed:-

l  General tenancy laws in Hong Kong such as forfeiture, re-entry and distraint

l  Option to renew and break clause (including sale and re-development clause)

l  General recovery procedure
