This course focuses on developing the expertise in using an outcome evaluation and documentation process for occupational therapy interventions. The focus is on setting and measuring client-centred, occupation-based goals within your practice setting.

Occupational therapists wishing to use standardised assessments to evaluate their practice.

This course is designed to enable participants to

  • Understand an outcome evaluation and documentation process that is occupation-based, client-centred and goal-oriented.
  • Enhance their ability to identify and set client-centred goals and to clearly document client-centred outcomes during OT intervention.
  • Further develop their understanding and skills to implement an outcome evaluation and documentation process within their specific service area.
  • Resolve issues surrounding client-centred practice and goal-setting within OT services.
  • Understand the process of auditing client-centred outcomes.
