Situated at the top of the Serbelloni steps, this excellent trattoria offers daily specials, homemade pasta and sauces that will not only please your taste buds but your pocket as well. They offer quite a competent local and regional wine collection at extremely good prices. There are a few tables outside and what remains inside is a simple, cosy trattoria setting. Reservations are not accepted; it is a first come, first served basis, but it is definitively worth waiting for. While you wait, enjoy a pleasant glass of wine. Good English is spoken here. This wonderful restaurant is located in the hamlet of Visgnola just 1,5 kms from the historical centre – the warm welcome that you receive on arrival at Salice Blu sets the stage for the amazing meal that you will enjoy here. This is a new restaurant addition for Bellagio found in the sunny, green surroundings of the Bellagio Sporting Club. Guests are offered light lunches at midday with exquisite salads and fresh dishes in the garden. The dinner menu offers typical Lombard and Classical Italian recipes with local specialities. The outdoor seating is on a large terrace covered with a beautiful Wisteria filled Pergolato overlooking the Salita Serbelloni. Lake fish dishes are very popular here – another favourite of ours is the mixed antipasti which are also served. The business is family run and English is spoken. Cosy atmosphere.

This restaurant offers the most fantastic views across the three branches of the lake. It is a great place for outdoor eating or simply enjoying a drink and soaking up the incredible natural beauty around you. Just sitting here on the terrace overlooking the small harbour with the Alps in the distance is so hard to beat. The speciality here is a dish made with fillets of perch, fresh from the lake, on a bed of rice. Other excellent pasta dishes are also served here. It is a great lunch place with a garden area in front of the restaurant. English is spoken. Casual atmosphere.

This intimate restaurant is situated in the hamlet of Loppia, immediately outside the gates of the Villa Melzi. The in and outdoor seating areas overlook the small harbour which houses the antique sailboats once used to transport goods from one side of the lake to the other. Fresh and salt water fish dishes are offered here along with fresh pastas served with traditional sauces. Ask the owner for the speciality of the day before ordering as we are quite sure you will not be disappointed. There is a good wine selection offered and English is spoken. Cosy atmosphere.
