  • : this is one of my favorite teaching resources out there. This website provides entertaining, inspirational, and funny short films that have language objectives and lesson plans built around the short film. Good for discussions on cultural and human interactions. (beginner-upper advanced)
  • : this website offers fun listening activities that are based off short commercials, video clips, and popular American music. The site offers quizzes to go along with the listening. (beginner-advanced)

  • : This website is great for listening activities that ask students to THINK. The website producesthe best talks and performances from TED and partners available to the world, for free. More than 1500 TED Talks are now available, with more added each week. All of the talks are subtitled in English, and many in other languages, too.This website is great for ESP and teacher professional development as well. (intermediate-proficient)
